If you have a bad shot or two, their Pirate can regin more health than what you took off. I've lost a couple matches because I made the mistake. Lastly, DON'T LET PIRATE BE THEIR LAST CARD. The longer it is the greater your chances of winning because you will have more health since you have Pirate and Paladin. *With this deck type, you want the match to be long. The longer he lives, the greater your chances of winning. *From the start of the match, protect you Paladin. Target their Pirate BEFORE going for their heavy hitter - You don't have a big hitter to quickly kill Pirate while he regins. Again, the longer their support last, the hard it will be for you to win.Ģ. *If they don't have one of the card types, proceed to the next step.ġ. Then, target their Pirate if they have one. As long as you don't clump up your cards, you'll win now.ģ. The longer their support stays alive, the hard it will be for you to win.Ģ. You target their support card first if they have one. Now that you know the main card types and deck types, I'll go over the basic, watered down game plan with each type of deck.ġ. For example, if you go offensive, don't take Giant and Goblin as you'll bounce Goblin off the wall destroy any clump up your opponent's cards were in greatly reducing the damage Giant can do. Pick the cards you use based on eachother. 1 Splash, Pirate, Paladin, 1 support/tanky card Treant, Pirate, 1 splash, 1 support (usually Paladin) 1 heavy hitter, 1 splash, 1 after effect, either Enchantress or another splash What I like to use is a more offensive geared deck with a heavy hitter (Jaguar/Goblin), 2 splash (Orc & Wizard), and an after effect (Druid mainly). Some of you might think it's best to add one of each type to your deck, or maybe you want to be ultra offense and go 2 Heavy Hitters and 2 Splash, or ultra defense with tanky cards, while it might seem like it should/would work, it usually doesn't. So, now that that is sorted, we can jump into building a deck. This could be Priest, Paladin, Enchantress, etc. They can provide an increase in damage, some extra health, or something else. These cards can generally are used to help your other 3 cards. This could be the Giant, Druid, Sorceress, etc. For the purpose of the 'guide', only damage dealing after abilities will be counted. These cards are the ones where their ability kicks in after their turn is up. (sorry, I'm still in Lost City so don't know what some of the higher arena cards are) These cards deal medium damage to their target and enemies around them and can have medium to a large amount of hp. This could be the Assassin, Jaguar, Goblin, Barbarian, etc. These cards deal high amounts of damage to a single target and are usually balanced by their low hp. So hopefully this post/'guide' can help you as once I started applying this to my decks, I reached a new high.īefore we hop into the deck building, it's important to know the 4 main card types in the game While I love the game (even with it's obvious p2w playstyle), it can be frustrating losing game after game and before you know it, you're 3 decks in, and 300 trophies lower.
